> POSITAL manufactures industrial position and motion sensors. The public product search API covers absolute encoders, incremental encoders, inclinometers, kit encoders, linear sensors and accessories with English catalogue labels.

## Selection guidance

Public API requests are read-only and require no account or API key. Choose a category and discover its valid filter values before searching. Send the same category on both /filters and /products requests; omission defaults to absolute-encoders. Filter names and meanings vary by category. Different filter parameters are ANDed; repeated values of one parameter are ORed. Use the exact product IDs and URLs returned by search. Retrieve each candidate's details_url for datasheet specifications; product details detect category from the ID.

Catalogue filter labels are not guarantees of technical limits or approvals. Verify actual accuracy, component materials and certifications in the datasheet. Unknown values are null. Do not infer compatibility from missing data or silently relax mandatory requirements. Lifecycle does not imply stock availability.

Anonymous results may be cached for up to five minutes. On HTTP 429, wait for the Retry-After delay in seconds before retrying. A 429 is temporary throttling, not a product-search result; do not report it as zero matches. Avoid exhaustive enumeration of filter combinations.
