VITECTOR Business Unit Sold to CEDES Group


FRABA has announced the sale of its industrial door sensor brand VITECTOR to CEDES. This transaction, which will take place on June 1st, 20022, will benefit the growth of all FRABA’s other business units and technologies to support brand growth into other markets. Both FRABA and CEDES, a Swiss technology company specializing in sensor systems for elevators and industrial doors, are committed to a smooth transition for VITECTOR’s existing customers. Christian Leeser, CEO of FRABA, states “The new ‘VITECTOR by CEDES’ brand can offer the most complete line of exceptional industrial door sensors. We are very happy about this opportunity and will do our very best to support it."


  • After this acquisition FRABA can focus its investments on the development of our other business areas such as:
    • Wiegand Technology
    • POSITAL and it’s Absolute Kit Encoders for Motor Feedback
    • CREDEMUS – Digitized Manufacturing Solutions

FRABA Group Continues Significant Growth


2021 brought significant changes including a 23% growth in revenues. This growth was accompanied by important developments including the newest brands – CREDEMUS (which provides support services and software’s in mi-sized companies interested in high-complexity/low-volume manufacturing) and UBITO (which promotes and develops our Wiegand Technology). To aid in the growing business and its developing product lines, preparations were made to open another facility in Malaysia. Finally, an additional two new equity partners were appointed to FRABA’s leadership team – Andre Rot and Stéphane Walz.

New Corporate Logos


To accompany the launch of FRABA’s newest business units – CREDEMUS and UBITO , a new logo was introduced in July of last year. It features the four-pointed star which symbolizes the four guiding principles. These principles include Total Information, Fair Sharing, Competence, and Dynamic Development. The company culture has nurtured innovation, transformation, and growth over the last 25 years and the FRABA Star has been an important internal compass for this journey.
